Lead-free bismuth bronze CDA UNS No. C89842

"LF5A" is lead-free bismuth bronze newly developed to reduce cost further from conventional bismuth bronze such as C89844(CAC902).
(As showing below, approx 7%) cost reduction has become available thru our redesign of chemical composition without deteriorating the performance as the bronze - We have succeeded in reducing raw material costs of "LF5A" by lowering the Copper content and then filling with Zinc.
Mechanical properties equivalent to the conventional bismuth bronze can be fully obtained by adjusting a balance of Copper and Zinc content.  In addition, containing bismuth makes it more practical to get better machinability.
Our "LF5A" could satisfy you
・as the materials for the parts used under various lead-free regulations
・as the materials alternative for leaded bronze such as C83600(CAC406)
・as the materials at lower cost than conventional lead-free bronze such as C89844(CAC902)
